Born and educated in New Zealand, Sarah's illustration career began in Australia. Inspired by her travels in Europe, and by her passion for the work of European illustrators, Sarah relocated to Paris, where she established herself professionally.

Paris provided inspiration in abundance, and during Sarah’s time there her work developed the unique combination of sharp-eyed visual wit, sophisticated colour and graceful hand-lettering that now sets her work apart.

After several years in New Zealand, Sarah has again relocated to Paris and now works for clients in the United States as well as Europe, and her illustrations feature in books, magazines, advertising campaigns and an increasing array of beautiful products on both sides of the Atlantic.
